K–12 & higher education
Student programs that follow the student — across terms, departments, and graduation.
Mentoring programs, first-generation cohorts, career pathways, work-based learning, student-support referrals — districts, technical colleges, and universities run them from different offices with different tools. BridgeCase connects them to one longitudinal student record, with the access controls, consent tracking, and reporting discipline that student data demands.

What gets in the way
Student support that outlasts a spreadsheet — and a semester.
Schools and campuses run more student programs than any one office can see — and the records rarely survive a transition.
Every program keeps its own roster
The mentoring program, the first-generation initiative, and the career center each track students in their own spreadsheet or form tool — so nobody can say which students are in three programs and which are in none.
Student history resets at every transition
Middle school to high school, one academic year to the next, enrollment to graduation — each handoff starts a new file, and the next advisor inherits nothing the last one learned.
Work-based learning runs on paper
Employer agreements, timesheets, and supervisor evaluations get chased over email, then hour totals are rebuilt by hand for credit awards, wage documentation, and grant reports.
Student records need more than a shared drive
Records about minors and enrolled students call for access by role, documented consent, and an audit trail of who saw what. A folder shared with the whole department provides none of that.
How the work runs
The programs schools and campuses actually run.
Student mentoring programs
Mentor applications and screening steps, matching, session logs, and semester milestones — for peer, staff, and community-mentor models.
First-generation & success cohorts
Cohort enrollment, advisor check-ins, flagged concerns, and term-over-term participation history in one place.
Career pathways & work-based learning
Employer partners, placements, digital timesheets with approval routing, and supervisor evaluations tied to each student.
Student-support referrals
Referrals to tutoring, counseling partners, and basic-needs services — with statuses that close the loop instead of disappearing.
Alumni follow-up
Post-graduation touchpoints, consented outcome check-ins, and a pipeline for recruiting alumni back as mentors.
Departmental & institutional reporting
Program-level dashboards that roll up to unduplicated, de-identified counts across the district or institution.
The modules you'll use
The modules education teams rely on.
The natural starting point is the program office under the most reporting pressure — then connect the rest.
Participant & Household 360
One longitudinal record per student across programs and years — with household context where K–12 support requires it.
Programs, Intake & Enrollment
Applications, cohort enrollment, and term-based program structures for first-generation and student-success initiatives.
Mentoring
Mentor recruiting, screening workflow, matching, and session tracking for campus and community mentoring programs.
Workforce & Internships
Employer partnerships, placements, timesheets, and evaluations for work-based learning and career pathways.
Family Resources & Referrals
Closed-loop referrals to tutoring, counseling partners, and basic-needs services — with visible status.
Outcomes & Reporting
Departmental views that roll up to de-identified reporting for deans, boards, and grant deliverables.
Built for your requirements
Built for how institutions govern student data.
- Role-based access with least-privilege defaults — an advisor sees their caseload, not the student body
- Consent tracking for students and guardians, including communication and media preferences
- Audit history covering record access, changes, and exports
- Implementation includes institutional review of your regulatory requirements — including FERPA obligations — mapped against the platform's access, consent, and audit capabilities
- De-identified, aggregate reporting appropriate for boards, cabinets, and grant reports
- Configurable terminology per program — mentees, scholars, cohorts, terms — with one governed system underneath
- Data ownership and export: your institution's records remain your institution's records
- Accessibility as a requirement, not an afterthought — the platform targets WCAG conformance
Evidence and reporting
Evidence for deans, boards, and grant reports.
Because every program records into the same student record, department-level questions and institution-level questions draw on the same source — without exposing any individual student.
- Unduplicated students served across mentoring, cohort, and pathway programs, by term and by school
- Mentoring matches, session volume, and match duration by program and campus
- First-generation cohort enrollment and term-over-term participation
- Work-based learning hours completed, placements, and employer partners by pathway
- Student-support referrals initiated and completed, by service category
- Alumni follow-up contacts and consented outcome check-ins by graduating cohort
Frequently asked questions
Does BridgeCase integrate with our SIS, and do you support single sign-on?
Integration and SSO requirements vary widely across districts and institutions, so we review yours during evaluation against the platform's current capabilities rather than promising a connector list up front. Bring your IT team to the conversation — you'll get direct answers about what works today, what requires configuration, and what doesn't exist yet.
How is student data protected?
Through role-based access with least-privilege defaults, documented consent tracking, and an audit history of record access, changes, and exports. Your institution remains responsible for its regulatory obligations, so implementation includes a review with your team that maps those requirements — including FERPA obligations — to the platform's capabilities. These capabilities support your compliance program; we don't claim a certification on its behalf.
Can one department adopt it, or does this require an institution-wide rollout?
A single program office — a career center, a first-generation initiative, a district mentoring program — can run its own permissioned workspace on its own timeline. When additional departments join, each keeps its own roles and forms, and leadership gains de-identified reporting across all of them. Nothing about starting small forecloses growing later.
How does work-based learning tracking actually work?
Employer partners, placements, and supervisors are records in the system, not rows in a side spreadsheet. Students log hours on digital timesheets that route to supervisors for approval; evaluations attach to the placement; and hour totals accumulate per student, per employer, and per pathway — ready for credit awards, wage documentation, and grant reporting.
Can we stay connected with students after they graduate?
Yes. The student record persists past graduation, so alumni follow-up runs as a program of its own: scheduled touchpoints, consented outcome check-ins, and a track for inviting alumni back as mentors — without re-entering anyone who was already in the system.
